Ladies and gentlemen. Cheating, unfortunately, has been around since the beginning of time. As soon as humans got together, they've also been betraying each other. It's a hard truth to swallow if it happens to you, but it's as old as time, and unfortunately, happens to most people. Some people can miraculously get over this type of betrayal and move on with their partner. It takes immense effort from the partner who made the affair to win back the love and trust of their spouse. For couples who can move past this trauma, it's a beautiful thing.

That's what happens with this couple. They've worked out their relationship, and 6 years after are better than ever. The wife even says she forgets most of the time. That's all until the husband's affair partner, after all these years, spontaneously (and a little suspiciously) gets hired at his company. Not only does she get hired there, but their boss is insisting on them going on a business trip together for two whole weeks. It's more than sketchy if you ask me. But hey, maybe next time it's better to not cheat on your wife. Just a thought.

    I think you need to tell your husband this is a consequence of a thing he did back in the day and he needs to handle it. I'm in your camp, this would have me rattled. He likely needs to start looking for a new job, and it's his fault.
